The Illustrated Standard was developed by a recognized committee of the AMCA to help breeders, judges, and enthusiasts “picture” the standard in their mind. The illustrations included in the Illustrated Standard are meant to be used as a helpful guide, and they are not necessarily based upon any particular dog or dogs.
